I was swaying in my hammock in the back yard, and my loveable wife came out to tell me that we need to look at some infant carseat covers. At the moment, I thought she may have a point. But this only brought me more work later on. When she said it, it seemed like sense. We had one already. But that was from several years back, when we had our first child. There are some things that have to be updated. I've always believed that. The years pass and they are not as good as they once were. It's debatable what items fall into this category. Aside from that point, the theory is sound.

So, just what does it mean for something to be assembled with the outlook that it will go bad? And can I truly say that this applies to infant carseat covers? To be honest, I haven't decided yet. Are infant carseat covers really suitable for this list? The only thing that I can say to you is that the concept works in general. As an example of items that may fit into this concept more readily, I would go with apparel or appliances. I doubt that there is anybody who would argue with me over those. That's just the way things are. They make better versions of everything, with more gizmos included, and you just want to update what you have. If they made things that better withstood the test of time, it would really make me giddy. I know that it has to be possible in many industries. This would, of course, mean there is less cash to be made on upgrades.
Even though I think this is the perfect scenario, my wife has other ideas. That woman chases goods down like a hunter on the prowl. She goes round to many different places, trying to find exactly the right item. And when she does, she snatches it up. She should really be the one looking for new infant carseat covers. Not a chance, though. It's just one of the many errands that she wants me to run for her. I don't know. Maybe searching for infant carseat covers isn't a fun idea to her for some reason.
The way I view things, shopping is not ever a fun experience. And there's why I have come to truly wish I hadn't said that we should go ahead and buy something new. I think the woman hoodwinked me. Get the addlebrained guy who looks like he's doing nothing at the moment to agree that there is something that needs doing, and then spring it on him that he will be the one doing it. Just devious!
But there's nothing I can do about it now. Just have to call it a lesson in how not to deal with her. That's the last time I agree with my wife on anything. Let's see how thoroughly she enjoys that! But for now, I have to play along. I'll shop for new infant carseat covers even though we don't need one quite yet. The experience will just help me not ever to forget this is all.
